At Rustling Wind we offer lessons for everyone ages 5 and up. You may schedule half hour or one hour appointments with one of our instructors.

Currently we have three instructors, all licensed and very qualified adults with several years of experience in teaching from the most beginner to upper level riders. At Rustling Wind we offer showing however we are not just a show barn and encourage pleasure riders to join us as well. Our goal is to create well trained horses and competent riders in the show ring or on the trails.

Terri Lamothe is the head instructor and manager of Rustling Wind. Terri lives on the property and oversees all daily operations as well as traveling to shows with students. She has 30 years experience in the show horse world, riding as a child with top professionals in everything from Hunter Ponies to the Big Eq. and jumpers. Terri teaches many of the people that are showing. She most enjoys coaching at all of the shows and working with people that have green projects. The most satisfying thing for her is to see a young horse transform into a well trained athlete.

Sarah Curulla comes to us with 15 years experience in teaching, and showing. A native of Litchfield, CT. Sarah began her riding career as a child with a background in eventing. She later went on to work in the eastern Massachusetts area and furthered her experience in equitation and jumpers, traveling to and competing at all of the major shows and finals. Sarah helps with coaching at the shows, shows horses and preps horses for the clients.

Sarah Garber also teaches at Rustling Wind. Sarah grew up in upstate New York, riding and showing hunters and equitation then riding at college on the school team.
